I was just browsing the aisles of a local newsagency and this caught my eye -

Wouldn't this be a fun hairstyle to try for a ball or a special event? Middle part, high hair (lots of hairspray required I would imagine!) and that bed head "messy" look.

She looks gorgeous with the yellow puffy dress- You can never have enough tule I say!

The gloves are the cherry on top. 

P.S. I remember sitting next to a very classy woman on a plane once (with a Louis Vuitton and impectable style) and she was reading a copy of Tatler.

My blogging (and real life) friends K and A have inspired me with their Kate Spade posts recently! What a charming and cheerful brand :) Believe it or not I had already started collecting images of the lovely Spade products, ads, store decor. You can't help but smile when you see all the colour.

I think adding more colour to your life really does change your mood (I'd be quite interested in studying colour therapy) In a literal sense, wearing colour always lifts my spirits, making me more happy, confident, and inspires creativity.

Why do we define things in life as either black or white, or somewhere in the "grey area"? Why don't we talk in tangerine, turquiose, gold, magenta?  Maybe I will have to start a new trend! So take a moment to see the world through rose coloured glasses...

While I have a twitter account, I don't tweet too much. The last time I logged in, it had been around 200 days since I had last posted a tweet! I mostly like to just cruise/click around and read about whats happening in the world, and peer into the glamorous lives of others. In my journey through twitterville, I stumbled across this twitter profile picture of Nicky Hilton which caught my eye. Not only does she look gorgeous (loving her hair!), she also has a pretty neat set up in her closet. While you often see the wooden hangers in boutique clothes stores which are simple and elegant in white, or birch colour with a silver hook, the hot pink plastic hangers shown here are really cool and look great matched with all the white decor. Of course it helps when you have luxurious lust-worthy clothes to hang off them!

I think Gossip Girl's costume designer Eric Damon does a brilliant job styling the cast of GG. I particularly love the way he dresses Blair- she always looks so polished and perfectly put together. Seeing as it is summer here I thought I would pick a selection of my favourite Blair frocks, one for every occasion.
